Policies
Thank you for respecting the sustainability of my business, my craft, and my wellbeing.
Communications
Booking requests, deposits, and scheduling are done via email. You can also email me directly with any other questions.

Because I handle all communications myself, you may wait a couple days for a response. I do my best to answer emails within the week. Please don't resend or bump the thread, this will send you to the end of my list, I answer oldest messages first.

As Instagram DMs and texts are difficult to keep up with and are unreliable for me, I appreciate you sticking to emails for all tattoo related subjects!
Deposits
I ask for a deposit that secures your date and covers my drawing and admin time. This deposit goes towards the total cost of your tattoo and is non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Outside of this window your deposit is non-transferrable to another session. I can offer one reschedule per deposit, with proper notice. Additional reschedules will require a new deposit to be placed.
Things happen, and communication is key! Please keep me up to date if you're feeling ill, or have been in close contact with anyone with a communicable illness.
Designs
I do not share my designs or send design previews before your appointment. This is to protect my drawing time and labor, and to prevent any communication issues. I find it's much easier to review together in person! We will begin our session with a design review and have time to make any edits you may want.
Total redesigns may require a new appointment, which will require an additional deposit to schedule.
For this reason, it's important to clearly communicate your idea and provide good reference. I appreciate the trust you place in me to execute your idea in my style! If you think you'd prefer an in-person consultation, please let me know, I offer these for free in between appointments.

I don't tattoo other artists' designs. If you are sending another artist's work as a reference, please know that I will execute the design in my own style and it won't ever be an exact copy.
This also goes for "tattoo tickets." In many of these cases the artist does not tattoo, so the piece may not be designed with the medium of tattooing in mind. A good rule of thumb-- before you spend money on a tattoo design, make sure to clear it with your artist. Better yet, have your artist design it!
Touch-Ups
A free touchup within 6 months is included in the price of your tattoo. Touchups should generally be on a tattoo healed at least one month. Touchups may include retouching areas of ink fallout or resaturating color.

Touchups are only to the design as it was applied, changes to the design do not count towards your touchup.

Important note: Please follow my aftercare guidelines to heal your tattoo. You may void your touchup by swimming, tanning/sunburn, or applying irritants to the healing tattoo.
Boundaries
As a business owner and independent artist, I reserve the right to terminate a client relationship for any reason.
While it's rare, here are some reasons why I may dismiss a client. These boundaries are non-negotiable.
-
Not respecting pricing, policies, or personal boundaries.
-
No-showing your scheduled appointment without providing notice.
-
Threatening the safety/comfort of myself, my studio mates, or community.

You reserve these same courtesies as a guest in my space.
